The End At Downey’s

March 16, 2010
By

Philadelphia, PA — South Street was rocking last evening. Local musicians got down at Downey’s located at the corner of South and Front Streets. Concert promoter Dave Simons of Five Year Plan Entertainment said, “THANK YOU to everyone at last night’s show at Downey’s. It rocked! A shout out to host Rob Malloy and Downey’s newbies Mike Liberatore & Daniel Brouse… Downey’s vets Rob Lytle, Brian Harmer, Eric, Sean Dziegelewski, Steve-O, Chris, Joyce, George, Curtis Irie, Trent, Marc, Tommy, and Justin and more!”

The End made their debut appearance at Downey’s to an appreciative crowd. They started the set with a revved-up cover of Donovan’s Sunshine Superman. The crowd got on their feet with dancing and singing. Another crowd pleaser was the original song Reverb Of The Room. Lead guitarist, Wally Urbanavage, wailed the 6-strings to the driving force of the keyboards. The End ended with the Bob Dylan song made famous by Jimi Hendrix All Along The Watchtower. Eric Visnov belted out the vocals as the band went wild. The crowd couldn’t get enough. All-in-all it was a heck-of a performance!
